Patti Ritchie

Technician

Patti Ritchie was born in Pennsylvania, but spent most of her childhood in North Texas. Patti is an only child, but if you ask her, she had tons of siblings growing up. Those siblings just happened to be animals. Her parents instilled in her at a very young age the responsibilities involved in caring for animals. Not only did they teach her to care for many different animals, but also helped build the love and passion she has for animals. She discovered at a young age that caring for God’s creatures would be her life-long calling.

Patti began working in veterinary hospitals while still in high school as kennel help and assistant technician. She graduated from Mansfield High School in 1995, and in 1997 began her continuous career as a technician in Burleson. She aided in establishing a veterinary hospital in Cleburne in 2009, then moved to the Rendon Road Animal Clinic family in July 2010. She has worked in every aspect of the veterinary hospital from running the front office, assisting in surgery, caring for critically sick and injured pets. It is not hard to believe that animals have always been an important part of her life.

Patti and her husband, Jeff live in Mansfield. They share their home with their Boston Terriers Winston & Olaf and their African grey parrot, Rex. Their other Boston Terrier, Flower, lives across the street at Patti’s parents. Patti and Jeff were high school sweethearts and were married in 1994. They spend their free time traveling the world, cruising the country on their harley and enjoying life together with their beloved pets. Patti is an invaluable part of our hospital family, and you can feel confident that your pet will be receiving the best care under her watchful eye. She treats all of her patients as if they were her own fur babies!
